Nadia* comes from a non-Christian background and has a son and a daughter living in a nearby area. She longed for salvation and to know Christ. She often had dreams where she saw Jesus and heard him calling her to come to him. Nadia used to tell her daughter and son about her dreams, but she was afraid to go to church for fear of rejection. Was what she longed for meant for her?
One day, Nadia’s daughter received a piece of gospel literature with a phone number printed on it and an invitation to attend discipleship lessons. She gave it to Nadia, who was touched by the words: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” This gentle invitation changed Nadia’s concept of Christ and Christianity. She used to believe that Christianity was a hereditary religion for those born into Christian families only. But the Holy Spirit began working in her heart, and Nadia felt a deep conviction that the message of Jesus is for all humanity, and salvation through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is for all people and for her personally.
Nadia contacted the local Every Home office and surrendered her life to the Lord Jesus and believed in Christ. She continues with lessons in discipleship, prayer, and God’s Word, and she testifies about Christ to her family.
