From the President’s Desk
As I write to you, I have just returned from a trip to visit Every Home’s ministry in the most linguistically diverse nation on the planet: Papua New Guinea. This island nation in the Pacific Ocean is home to 840 known spoken languages. That diversity is reflected in its cultural practices and its geography: both vary widely, making for a unique challenge when it comes to carrying Christ across the country. The people of Papua New Guinea are fractured by their languages, divided into tribes and villages, and scattered across mountains, rivers, and valleys. To reach each and every one with a meaningful gospel presence will take an incredible amount of love, devotion, and imagination. Luckily, Every Home teams have all three.
Every Home has been active in Papua New Guinea for nearly forty years. Our local leaders have labored to establish a trustworthy presence, inspiring and empowering believers throughout their nation to carry Christ to everyone, everywhere. Every Home’s legacy and credibility in Papua New Guinea are woven into a movement of love and reconciliation, bringing families and communities together in Christ.
Papua New Guinea is one of twenty-seven Every Home ministries across the region of Asia, which represents one of the most diverse mission fields on earth—economically, politically, geographically, religiously, and culturally. Many nations in this region are considered dangerous for Christian ministry, so we must be careful about the information we share. Each unique context requires a thoughtful approach to carrying Christ to ensure we are reaching everyone in relevant ways.

In Papua New Guinea and throughout the Asia-Pacific region, I am profoundly moved by the leaders, staff, volunteers, and partners of Every Home who are, every day, sacrificing for the sake of this vision. They are crossing rivers, climbing mountains, treversing valleys, facing hostility—anything it takes to make sure no person, family, or tribe gets overlooked. They commit their time, resources, and imaginations to carrying Christ to people who might otherwise never know the Good News.
When you give to Every Home, your sacrifice is partnered with theirs to carry Christ further, to take the Good News to more places, to translate the gospel into more languages, to ensure everyone, everywhere has a chance to know his love. We could not do this without you.
