The Gift of Attention

One day, while the team was visiting people in the hospital, they saw a mother beside her daughter’s bed. The team started a conversation, and, as the discussion went on, the woman began to cry. She cried for hours.
The team of believers sat with her as she wept.
The woman’s daughter had been in a coma for six months. The woman just wanted to share her story and for someone to listen. She said that when she talked with the team, she felt their love and compassion and began to feel hope.
Our team is still visiting this woman, sharing the love of God.
