The Oikos Initiative—launched in 2019—is defined by its visionary goal to carry Christ to everyone, everywhere by 2038 and its commitment to data-informed strategy and rigorous tracking. Not only did we set our sights on reaching the ends of the earth, but we committed to mapping our strategies and measuring our progress with the best tools and technology available, ensuring accuracy.
An Enormous Goal
Based on global population growth, we estimated that we would have to carry Christ to over 451 million people every year in order to achieve Oikos.
In 2024, we exceeded that goal, reaching around 599,731,090 people with the love of Jesus!
But that’s not all! The incredible results of our global network’s ministry in 2024 mean that we have exceeded the six-year benchmark for Oikos!

Six-Year Goal:
2.711 billion potential people reached
Six-Year Total:
2.820 billion potential people reached
These are enormous numbers! And we are overjoyed to celebrate them with you. But we also keep sight of the truth that Every Home President/CEO Tanner Peake notes in his introduction to the 2024 Annual Report:
“These numbers…point to millions of instances where Christ’s love is breaking into the lives of real people, in real time.”
What’s New? What’s Next?
The urgency and scale of Oikos requires us to continually innovate and expand our ministry methods, broadening our imagination for what outreach can look like in varied global contexts.
In recent years, we have seen a dramatic increase in ministry offices utilizing digital outreach tools and acts of care and service. Both strategies open doors for the love of Jesus that might otherwise be closed.
Public outreach is not safe or even possible in some regions. Fearing persecution or ostracization, many people are reluctant to open the door to a stranger or discuss spiritual questions, even with a friend. Digital outreach methods increase access to the message of Jesus while providing a degree of security.
Since the beginning of Oikos, 112.3 million people have encountered Jesus through digital outreach! In 2024 alone, 22 million people engaged with Every Home digitally, accounting for nearly 20% of the total since the beginning of Oikos.
Similarly, acts of care and service often create an avenue to share the gospel in countries that place strict restrictions on ministry.
A recent survey of Every Home Ministry Directors showed that 92% incorporate acts of care and service into their ministry. 32% said these acts are a regular or central part of their work, and 11% shared that they include acts of care and service in almost every ministry activity.
In 2024, 855,663 individuals received some kind of gift or aid as part of Every Home ministry activity.
