As believers serving with Every Home carry Christ, they witness countless life-changing encounters—”then, Jesus” moments. As we celebrate Easter, we want to share some of those stories with you.
Prayer and Presence Bring Hope in Albania
During the Easter season, our Every Home team gathered to pray in the main square of Tirana. “Many people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior during the event,” writes our team. “We are following up with people who connected with us by meeting with them and sending them Bibles. Our prayer team continues to pray for the requests we heard.”
As part of this outreach, our team showed a movie about Jesus’s life. A woman named Elida was walking through the square with her son when she noticed the gathering. Elida and her son stayed to watch the movie. After the film, our team stopped to talk with Elida.
“She was searching for God,” our team writes. “She was so happy to meet people who could tell her more about Jesus. Our volunteers prayed for her and her family. Elida and her son accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Elida is going to the Church with her husband and son.”
No More Fear of the Future

“My name is T. I wanted to live a happy life. But I had no faith in the future. I needed strength to overcome the hardships of this life. That’s why I was thinking about how to change. Then, one day, while walking on the street, I met some young men from the local church. They invited me to a celebration of the resurrection. After listening to the teachings, I realized that Jesus saved me, and my future became purposeful. Jesus is the way and the truth. Now, I am not afraid of the future. I can do all things through him who gives me strength because Jesus is with me anytime and anywhere.”
Freed from Burdens by a Dream During Ramadan

A believer serving in a restricted nation recently shared that they visited a beauty salon during Ramadan, and a woman asked if they were fasting.
“I started to share the Good News,” this believer writes. “At this point, she told me about a dream she had. In her dream, she saw that she was carrying a huge cross and weeping. She was suffering very much but didn’t put the cross on the ground. When she finished, I told her about the Lord, and we prayed together.”
This woman has accepted Jesus and attends a local church.
“Who can forgive me?”—Life Beyond Prison

“I ended up in prison because I sinned against God and many other people. I have often thought about my wrongdoings and wondered who would be able to forgive me. Because of that, I have had a lot of anxiety in my heart all these years. I never thought there would be someone who could forgive me. But now I have learned many things about God: he created everything, loves mankind, and always extends forgiveness to all. I believe God loves me and has given me another chance, and his forgiveness is always available to me. In the past, I was so weak and felt hopeless and was very sad. But I know, although I have done so many wrong things, it doesn’t matter how much wrong I have done in the past, God forgave me.”
Breaking the Chains of Addiction in Bangladesh
“M. works as a barber. A few years ago, he fell in with some bad friends and left his job as a barber to join them in the drug business. Eventually, he became addicted, and his wife left him. M. became very sad and started living a reckless life. But living like this started to seem pointless to him. Last month, he met some local believers who told him about the Lord Jesus. He came home and read the literature they gave him carefully. He decided to surrender himself to the Lord Jesus. Then he went boldly to the pastor of the local church, M. renounced his addictions and asked to be baptized. M. has returned to his profession as a barber. Seeing his life change, his wife returned to him. She is learning more about Jesus. M. decided that he would preach the Lord Jesus to his customers whenever he got the chance.”
