Love Your Neighbor is a global initiative from Every Home to inspire and equip everyday believers to carry Christ’s love into their neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities. It’s a movement rooted in compassion and driven by intentionality—mobilizing believers around the world to see people through the eyes of Christ, show love through tangible acts of care, and speak hope through the gospel.
The Love Your Neighbor kit is one of the most practical tools offered through this initiative. It’s designed to help churches and individuals live out this calling in real, everyday ways. By resourcing the Church and empowering believers, Love Your Neighbor is helping to cultivate a lifestyle of mission grounded in love, presence, and everyday discipleship.
What if I run out of kits? Can I request more?
You can always order more if we have them in stock. After each annual run, we eventually run out of printed kits. Then, we print an updated version each year.
How adaptable is this for different church sizes?
The kit can be used by churches of all sizes. Remember that a kit (box) contains 12 packs. So, small churches might start with one kit, while large churches may order several kits and reorder frequently.
What if people are hesitant to engage their neighbors?
Each of the LYN tools addresses this central challenge uniquely. From challenging unhelpful views of outreach to making steps small and approachable, LYN packs will help believers overcome the barriers they face.
How much time does it take to implement effectively?
Launching the initiative should take 1-3 weeks and 8-12 hours, including preparation and launch meetings. However, the resources in the kit are designed for a year-long engagement. This initiative is meant to lead to lasting transformation and could even become part of your annual church campaigns.
